Pikaflo Thunderblog!
A weblog is a description and comment of one's own surfing. Therefore do not expect me to use this a journal, but just to publish links to some pages I've visited, and which I think may be worth a look.

Nerds might be an endangered species - no need to fly to Australia economy class to develop DVT according to this article.

Also in the news this week, the latest trendy weapons in Germany seem to be "Kartoffelkanone" or "potato bazookas".

Homo-erotic footie fan fiction here. I haven't read it yet, but it sure looks interesting... Let's call this the weekly selected link from the popbitch newsletter.

In case you didn't know this already, orisinal.com has loads of cute flash games and animations. Personal favourites are "Pocketful of Stars" and "Bubble Bees".

From the Popbitch newsletter (subscribe!): Porn star Jeff Stryker has recorded an album of country songs, including "Pop You In the Pooper." Download the MP3s here: http://www.lgcma.com/lgcma-jeffstryker.htm

Cutie Japanese smilies here. You know, the ones that go like this (-_-)

More proof that M$ are evil from the Register.

You thought weird court cases such as the woman suing McDonalds after she spilt her coffee on herself could only happen in the U.S, but no! In Scotland as well, and about as surreal if not more. http://www.news.scotsman.com/scotland.cfm?id=86002003.

Hands That Do Dishes Can Be Soft As Your Flokemon. More funky slogans at http://www.thesurrealist.co.uk/slogan!

And here is a good TCPA FAQ, or how "Trusted Computing" means computing that can breach your security and privacy more than anything.

The new (erm autumn 2002 on BBC Choice) series of Shooting Stars can be hilarious. Check George Dawes's nordic song, and hopefully, if it's still online Bob Mortimer as Ray Mears.

I've started a new page on this blogger thing, even though it doesn't stick to the strict definition of blog. I'm not the BOFH but sometimes I wish I could be :) See how thick people can be HERE!

Here's a new internet cult, that I'm sure some people will be happy to join: it is called Kababism. Definition: The belief that Kabab is a truly unifying (and satisfying) factor.

Booh to the football sites that ask you to register so you can view their news. I won't even link to it directly due to that. Anyway, see if you can access this article. It's got a few funny quotes.

Born Sloppy 10 days didn't show the full footage of Minute Man live, with Bez unleashed from the cage. Here is what they did not show. Basically at first it looked like Bez didn't want to leave the cage, then he just stood still for almost the whole song. Until this. Nice of C4 to put that online anyway :)

Yeah, been a while, but I deserved hols.
Anyway, big disillusion today. Why do scientists have to try ruin our sci-fi dreams of multiple dimensions etc? Apparently, the calculation of the speed of gravity would rule multiple dimensions out. Boo!
